  Had a shocking experience at the Henty Bay. My group arrived late on Friday night and after my discussion with Jodie on Thursday when booking the cabin we would need enough beds to accommodate 5 male adults on a fishing trip. She said yes I've got a cabin with 4 bunks and a double I can put you into. Beauty I'll see you late Friday then Arrived at 11pm and finally got into our cabin after the key wouldn't turn luckily I had a can of WD40 in the car to find out the cabin didn't have enough Beds to accommodate us (3 beds) Tried calling the after hours number for no response so we decided to share beds that where we could and sleep on couches and the floor Rang Jodie the next day to tell her what had happened and she refused to accept that she had made a mistake. She says that this was the only cabin she had available. If that was the only cabin available I would have rang another park as it only had 3 beds and we had 5 blokes. Later that afternoon she found another cabin for us to swap into but wanted my credit card details again before she would book it out?! Even after I already gave her my card details over the phone on Thursday when I booked the cabin. We decided to leave it as it was by staying in the original cabin and discuss in the morning as we checked out. At check out Jodie was nothing but rude and still wouldn't accept the fact she stuffed up the booking. She accused me of refusing payment even after I had already given her payment details. Demanded me to apologize to her for raising my voice. She had no idea how to handle the situation. The end result was a discounted rate which I paid for and left. I wasn't after cheap accommodation I was after a bed to sleep in after a long days fishing I have stayed in caravan parks across the country and never had an experience like this. She is a disgrace to the park and the owners (im not sure is she is an owner) really need to take these reviews seriously because I will be letting all my friends and the fishing community know never to stay at this park again..
